Mehrangarh (Mehran Fort), located in JodhpurRajasthan, is one of the largest forts in India

Built around 1460 by Rao Jodha, the fort is situated 410 feet (125 m) above the city and is enclosed by imposing thick walls. Inside its boundaries there are several palaces known for their intricate carvings and expansive courtyards. The museum in the Mehrangarh fort is one of the most well-stocked museums in Rajasthan which exhibits the heritage of the Royals in arms, costumes, paintings and decorated period

Umaid Bhawan Palace, located at Jodhpur is one of the world's largest private residences. Named after Maharaja Umaid Singh, grandfather of the present owner Maharaja Gaj Singh of the palace, this edifice serves as the principal residence of the erstwhile Jodhpur royal family. A part of the palace also houses a museum. Umaid Bhawan Palace was called Chittar Palace during its construction due to use of stones drawn from the Chittar hill where it is located. Ground for the foundations of the building was broken on 18 November 1929 by Maharaja Umaid Singh and the construction work was completed in 1943. The Palace was built to provide employment to thousands of people during the time of famine.

The Jaswant Thada is a cenotaph 

It was built by Maharaja Sardar Singh of Jodhpur State in 1899 in memory of his father, Maharaja Jaswant Singh II, and serves as the cremation ground for the royal family of Marwar. The mausoleum is built out of intricately carved sheets of marble. These sheets are extremely thin and polished so that they emit a warm glow when illuminated by the sun. The cenotaph's grounds feature carved gazebos, a tiered garden, and a small lake.

Toorji ka Jhalra, Jodhpur, Rajasthan
In the heart of the old walled city, sequestered between narrow winding streets and centuries old havelis, lies a three hundred year old stepwell, Toorji ka Jhalra.

An ancient stepwell, modelled on the ‘Bawri’s’ of Gujarat, it holds water 300 feet deep, with steps descending to the well. Built in 1740 AD, by a queen of Marwar – Raani Tawarji, consort of Maharaja Abhay Singh of Jodhpur, the stepwell resembles those from the queen’s home Kingdom in Patan, Gujarat.

Osian (Osiyan) is an ancient town located in the Jodhpur District
It is an oasis in the Thar Desert, and has been known as the "Khajuraho of Rajasthan" for its temples.Osian is famous as home to the cluster of ruined Brahmanical and Jain temples dating from the 8th to 11th centuries. Of the 18 shrines in the group, the Surya or Sun Temple and the later Kali temple, Sachiya Mata Temple and the main Jain temple dedicated to Mahavira stands out in their grace and architecture.The town was a major trading center at least as early as the Gupta period. It maintained this status, while also being a major center of Brahmanism and Jainism for hundreds of year.
